Spotlight On: Sattva Pure

Hello everyone! Early last summer, I was fortunate to attend an event celebrating green beauty in Canada. One of the brands/owners I got to meet were the ladies of Sattva Pure. Based in Aurora, Ontario, Sattva Pure creates 100% vegan, natural skincare products.I received some deluxe samples at the event itself, but a few months later, they contacted me to see if I was interested in the rest of their line. They generously sent me lots of goodies, however these are the ones I’ve been using and loving lately! Their 3-Step Set for Normal/Combo Skin ($99 CDN) smells like essential oils which makes sense as it is formulated with castor seed and pomegranate oils among other great natural ingredients.  I think this is why the scent isn’t overpowering or offensive (which tends to happen with scented skincare IMO.) The cleanser is supposed to foam, however mine actually does not…but I prefer it this way! It’s more of a thin gel texture which is similar to the Indie Lee cleanser that I am also using. I love spraying the hydrating mist as a toner after I get out of the shower, and I definitely finish off with the balancing moisturizer. All in all, it’s a very cohesive system that works beautifully together to give me smooth skin (and smells great!)Their Sea Salt & Sugar Scrub ($32 CDN) is an indulgently creamy scrub that leaves my skin smooth and incredibly hydrated. Made with different oils and unrefined shea butter, this scrub reminds me of my old beloved Fig and Yarrow Cardamom and Coffee scrub in terms of end result. The lavender scent is very soothing and it definitely pairs well with the lavendar Ultra Hydrating Body Butter ($30 CDN.) Thick and creamy, this body butter has been really great for my winter-dry skin. I love that this body butter doesn’t smell artificially sweet like many conventional body butters.

Overall, Sattva Pure is a fantastic green skincare brand. I would highly recommend giving their range a try. You can check them out online at and be sure to check them out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at @SattvaPure.
