Use the Force: Lise Watier HydraForce*

Hello everyone! I am really excited to share my recent experience with my first GlamSense box I received. I was sent the new moisturizer from Lise Watier along with a fun little tech tool to try and review. Admittedly, I had never tried anything from this brand before and I was surprised to learn that this Canadian company has been around since 1972. Before I begin with the test results and review, I will apologize for the cheesy title of this post – I just couldn’t resist!

From The formula’s effectiveness lies on the remarkable power of Gaspé Algae Extract. A survivor of harsh environments, the Gaspé algae has developed a highly efficient resistance system, enabling it to thrive in severe conditions. Its extract guarantees the skin’s global hydration, transforming it into a veritable defensive shield.

So along with the cream I received this adorable little tool with wings that you hook up to your phone and it actually tests your skins moisture levels. I downloaded the Hydraforce app and through it was able to test my skin’s (lack of) moisture and what happened after I applied Hydraforce.

Here are the initial results for my hand, t-zone, and cheek:

Not surprising since I don’t drink enough water (a constant goal) and the wintery weather is still holding on here in Ontario. Here are the results AFTER applying Hydraforce to the same areas:
As you can see, Hydraforce delivers instant hydration in a smooth and lightweight formula that absorbs quickly into your skin. It has a very light fragrance that is not offensive or headache-inducing and you don’t smell it once you’ve applied it.

That’s so cool that it can measure your moisture level. I have really dry skin so I’m always applying lotion!
